How to Archive and Restore Products

Archiving products hides them from the storefront and frees up plan slots while preserving data, making it preferable to permanent deletion, which removes all information. Archived products can be restored via the Archived tab in the Configurator Products section. 

Archiving a Product

Archiving hides a configuration from your storefront and frees up a slot toward your plan's product limit. The configuration data is fully preserved.

  1. Go to Configurator Products.
  2. Find the product in the product listing (make sure the Active tab is selected) and click the archive icon:
  3. Confirm when prompted.

The product moves to the Archived tab and is no longer visible in the storefront configurator.

Restoring a Product

  1. Go to Configurator Products and click the Archived tab.
  2. Find the product and click the restore icon:

The product becomes active again and the storefront configuration reappears on the product page.

Permanently Deleting a Product

  1. On the product card, click the delete icon:
  2. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Permanent deletion cannot be undone. All configuration data for that product is removed. Archiving is recommended unless you are certain the data is no longer needed.

Note:  This will only delete the configuration, not the underlying products or collections.
