Understanding the Dashboard

The NetSource Configurator Dashboard is the central hub for monitoring your subscription, tracking product and quote activity, reviewing revenue analytics, and identifying price discrepancies — all in one place.

Overview

The Dashboard is the home screen of the NetSource Configurator app. It gives you a real-time operational snapshot of your store's configurator activity, including your subscription status, product and quote counts, revenue metrics, and price sync health.

Subscription Banner

When you first open the Dashboard, a banner at the top tells you about your subscription state:

  • Trial banner — If you are in your 14-day free trial, a warning banner shows how many days remain and includes a Manage Billing button to upgrade before the trial expires.
  • No active subscription banner — If you have not yet selected a plan, an informational banner prompts you to Choose a Plan.

Current Plan Card

Below any banner, a summary card displays:

  • Plan name — The name of your current plan (e.g. Starter, Advanced, Premium, Unlimited).
  • Status badge — Shows Active (green), Trial (yellow), or Inactive depending on your subscription state.
  • Manage Billing button — Takes you directly to the Billing page to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

Revenue Analytics

If revenue data is available (requires at least one purchased quote within the last 30 days), a Revenue Analytics card appears with five key metrics:

Metric Description
Total Purchased Revenue The total dollar value of all purchased quotes, with the number of orders shown below.
Avg Quote Value The average value across all quotes (not just purchased).
Avg Purchased Value The average value of purchased quotes only.
Total Discounts Given The sum of all discounts applied across all quotes.
Configuration vs Default The percentage difference between configured totals and default product totals — shows how much value the configurator adds.

View Full Reports link in the card header takes you to the detailed Reports page.

Plan requirement: Revenue Analytics data is populated from submitted and purchased quotes. If no quotes have been submitted yet, this section will not appear.

Summary Cards

Three summary cards are displayed side by side, giving you an at-a-glance view of the three core areas of the app:

Configurator Products

  • Active Products — The number of configurations currently live on your storefront.
  • Archived — The number of configurations you have archived (data preserved but not visible to customers).
  • View Products button — Takes you to the Configurator Products page.

Configurator Quotes

  • Total Quotes — The total number of quotes across all statuses.
  • Submitted — Quotes awaiting your review (blue badge).
  • Working — Quotes you have started reviewing (yellow badge).
  • Finalized — Quotes you have finalized and sent to the customer (green badge).
  • View Quotes button — Takes you to the Quotes page.

Price Sync

  • Products with Drift — The number of configurable products that have at least one item where the configurator price differs from the current Shopify price. Shown in red if drift exists.
  • Total Drifted Items — The total number of individual items with price discrepancies.
  • If all prices are in sync, a green "All prices are in sync" message is displayed.
  • If drift exists, a "Needs Attention" warning badge appears on the card header and the button reads Review Price Drift. Otherwise, the button reads View Price Sync.

Quick Navigation

Every card on the Dashboard includes a button that takes you directly to the relevant section of the app — Products, Quotes, Price Sync, Billing, or Reports — so you can act on what you see immediately.
