Understanding Quote Statuses
Configurator Quotes utilizes a status-based workflow (Submitted, Working, Finalized, Customer Review, Purchased, and Archived) to track quotes from initial submission to final purchase, allowing for easy filtering of active or closed items. The typical process flows sequentially from submission to purchase, though quotes can be archived at any stage and purchased items cannot revert to previous statuses.
Overview
Every quote in the app has a status that reflects its current stage in the workflow. Use the status filter on the Quotes list to focus on quotes that need your attention.
Status Definitions- Submitted — The customer submitted the quote. It is awaiting your review.
- Working — You have opened and started reviewing the quote.
- Finalized — You have set a final price. The quote has been sent to the customer for their review.
- Customer Review — The customer is reviewing your finalized quote.
- Purchased — The customer accepted the quote and completed a purchase.
- Archived — The quote is closed and no longer active. Archived quotes are still visible under the Archived filter.
Submitted → Working → Finalized → Customer Review → Purchased
Quotes can be archived at any stage. Purchased quotes cannot be moved back to an earlier status.
