Overview
Each category card in a configuration has a settings section. These settings let you control how that category behaves and appears on the storefront.
Note: You can set the default settings for a new category card in Configurator Settings.
Settings
- Show More Info Button: Places a button for each group item that displays product information for that item. Default: Checked.
- Required Category: Whether customers must select an item in this category before adding to cart. Default: Not Checked.
- Display Quantity Field: Allows items in the group to be purchased in quantities greater than 1. Default: Not Checked.
- Show Product Description: Shows the first 200 characters of the items description. Default: Checked
- Show Item Image: Displays the product's main image next to the item. Default: Checked.
- Show Item SKU: Show each item's SKU alongside its title. Default: Not Checked.
- Allow only one item or multiple selections: Let customers choose more than one item within this category. Default: Allow only one.
- Category instructions: Optional instructional text displayed above the items.
Saving
Changes to category settings are saved when you click the main Save button in the top-right of the configurator builder.
